The awards recognize the strength of big ideas over stratospheric budgets.

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., October 20, 2015 – The Davey Awards recently announced its 2015 winners, and SweetRush was honored for its work educational video, interactive multimedia for training, and content marketing, taking home one gold and two silver awards.

The Davey Awards recognize small agencies that demonstrate intelligence, out-of-the-box thinking, and exceptional execution, which motivated SweetRush to participate in these awards for the first time this year.

“Our clients’ learning and development departments just do not have the large budgets that companies earmark for advertising and marketing,” explains Arturo Schwartzberg, SweetRush Chairman and CFO, “Yet our clients want effective learning solutions, and employees want training that proves the company cares enough to invest in them. At SweetRush we’ve found ways to produce agency-level branding, 3D animation, and mobile games as slick, fun, and addictive as any you’d find for casual play, while working within L&D budgets. Refined messaging, visual engagement, and engaging interactivity gets the attention of learners, and we’re seeing the results in excellent evaluation data.”

In addition to the awards for client projects, SweetRush’s instructional design and marketing teams were honored to receive an award in the content marketing category for the SweetRush e-book, How to Be a Rock Star Instructional Designer. Catherine Davis, Instructional Design Practice Lead, wrote the e-book to inspire and encourage all instructional designers interested in taking their careers to the next level, including tips, insights, and strategies that she gained in her experience in various roles.
